i saw this guy in the city the other night with blood from his nose and all over his chest, and i felt sorry for him because on the outside he had to seem tough and totally wired when on the inside he was probably scared and wanted to cry. then i thought i could portray him as a child because he was so powerless, and it exaggerates the intenseness of it too.
it was hard to do the body coz i had to do it from my mind, and i had one way i was going to do it, then i changed my mind mid way through oil paint on canvas |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
